For most of my adult life, despite eating healthy, being extremely athletic, and taking loads of supplements, I was never quite able to attain good health. During college, I began incessant belching for which no one could identify the cause. Through traditional medical testing it was determined that I did not have Celiac Sprue (gluten allergy), but rather a “milk allergy”. The elimination of milk products from my diet while helpful didn’t make a significant difference in my gut. Due to repeated bouts of “gastritis”, I underwent an upper GI endoscopy and was told that I had small ulcers and was prescribed Prilosec for a month yet my symptoms got no better. In addition to my gut issues, I also had 2-3 episodes of sinusitis a year for which I took antibiotics. A natural medicine physician said that I had “weak adrenals” and put me on low dose hydrocoritisone.
In my search for health I sought the assistance of a nutrition therapist. Cheryl Bagley, NTP worked with me to solve my problems and not just treat my symptoms. She told me that my problems began with my gut and that we would work on healing that first. I was initially skeptical. We did some testing and among other things discovered that I had significant gluten sensitivity. By eliminating gluten from my diet and taking appropriate supplements over a 4 month period, my gut was healed and my problems were solved. An unexpected benefit my new nutritional regimen was the loss of 15 pounds. Most importantly, I no longer have gastritis, episodes of sinusitis, take steroids or antibiotics.
Cheryl Bagley, NTP of Rejuvitrition has had the most profound effect on my heath during my adult life and I am forever indebted to her as a result. She succeeded where others had failed.
Thank You Cheryl!

I found Cheryl when I was looking for a certified GAPS practitioner. I have never met a practitioner who cares so much. She is thorough with her assessments and demonstrates excellent problem solving skills. She is persistent until she puts all of the pieces of the puzzle together. She is a life-long learner and attends many continuing education classes. She taught me that nutrition is important but so is one’s psychological mindset and well being. This made all the difference for me. Cheryl is a gift and I am so thankful to know her.

After a holiday season of eating traditional family foods and holiday favorites, I found myself suffering for the second time from acid reflux. This time however, it did not go away in a week of two. Six months later, two prescription drugs per day, a number of trips to my PCP, along with an endoscopy did not decrease my constant feeling of nausea and discomfort. Over the six-month period, I eliminated all coffee, alcohol, and many other foods that I believed contributed to my acid reflux and still found no relief.
I signed up for a presentation Cheryl offered through my workplace titled, “Digestive Health.” I figured I had nothing to lose… After the first ten minutes, I was hooked. Cheryl offered some suggestions that I felt I needed to explore.
Within a week I stopped all medications and was symptom free. We were able to evaluate my food choices, made some dietary changes, and I began to feel healthier than I had in over six months. There were many things to learn and eating habits to change. Cheryl made the experience user friendly and even slowed me down when I got over zealous.
My husband is currently a new client. We both have always eaten what we believed was a fairly healthy diet. Cheryl has been working with us to redefine “healthy eating.” Changing some of our food choices and dietary habits has not always been easy, but the payoff has certainly been worth it.
